Job description – Business Performance Manager
Job Summary
The Reconciliation Manager will be responsible for coordinating with Retail Operations on the Cards suspense account reconciliations and scheme settlements. He / She will liaise with Retail Operations on reconciliation and settlement Automation Projects. He / She will review the related Business Requirement Documents and give feedback from Business perspective. The person will function as Business Representative on all Card reconciliation and settlement related issues, where Business intervention and involvement is required. He / She will be involved in investigating out of TAT items, as and when highlighted by Retail Operations. The Reconciliation Manager will be responsible for preparing executive reports to Retail Heads on Reconciliation status and exceptions. He /She will ensure the P&L movements are accurate, timely and within the portfolio ratios and rates
Key Accountabilities
• Coordinate with Retail Operations team on Operational Projects which has an impact on Cards P&L
• Analyze and compare financial records from multiple systems and data sources to identify inconsistencies and discrepancies in Reconciliation.
• Investigate root causes of differences and recommend corrective actions
• Communicate and follow up on the issues until closure with respective stakeholders
• Review Business Requirement Documents for operational projects, ensuring alignment with reconciliation requirements
• Serve as a key point of contact between Cards Business and Retail operations team.
• Provide expert-level support on reconciliation and settlement-related escalations
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation on escalations, controls and audits
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements in all follow up activities
• Recommend processes to improve efficiency and reduce timelines
• Initiate and implement automated tools for effective P&L variance monitoring and analysis
• Closely monitor, follow up and close audit points related to revenue leaks

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, and or Management – related major
