Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dehiwala. As a Senior Finance Executive, you will oversee and manage core financial operations, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements. You will ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards, such as GST and VAT, while providing high-level financial reporting. This role also involves strategic budgeting and providing the necessary insights to drive overall financial health and performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Oversee daily financial operations and manage end-to-end accounting processes.

• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive financial statements and reports.

• Compliance: Ensure full adherence to regulatory standards, including GST and VAT filings and documentation.

• Strategic Planning: Lead budgeting and financial forecasting initiatives to support business growth.

• Performance Insights: Provide data-driven insights to improve financial health and operational efficiency.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the management team to align financial strategies with global business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven track record in preparing financial statements and conducting complex financial reporting.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of core finance concepts.

• Taxation Knowledge: Hands-on experience in managing VAT and local regulatory compliance.

• Software Skills: Proficiency in modern accounting software and ERP systems is a distinct advantage.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities, sharp attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving skills.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Professional Standing: Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or similar are highly preferred.

• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, on-site environment.
