Job Overview
Are you a tech-savvy problem-solver who enjoys helping others and making systems run smoother? We’re looking for a Technical Support Coordinator to act as the vital link between users and our internal teams. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to support students, educators, and partners while collaborating with developers to keep our learning platform running at its best.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer responsive technical support to students and users via chat, email, and ticketing systems
- Troubleshoot access issues and walk users through platform tools and features
- Identify, document, and report bugs clearly to the development team
- Monitor and follow up on issue resolution, keeping stakeholders informed
- Conduct internal and external training sessions on platform usage
- Participate in meetings with developers and contribute user-focused insights
- Write clear documentation, update user manuals, and maintain support guides
- Test new features before release and give structured feedback
- Create helpful resources such as FAQs, walkthroughs, and video tutorials
- Translate technical updates into simple, easy-to-understand communication for users
Must-Have Qualifications
- Based in or willing to commute to Jaffna, Sri Lanka
- Background in IT, Computer Science, or related field (degree/diploma)
- Hands-on experience with tech support or platform coordination
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or similar languages
- Fluent in both Tamil and English (spoken and written)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Nice-to-Have
- Prior experience with educational technology or LMS platforms
- Comfort using project management or ticketing tools
- Experience delivering user demos or training sessions
