Role Summary

As a Waiter for our 2 Michelin-starred Il Ristorante*, you are an ambassador of Italian hospitality and culinary excellence. This role requires a sophisticated professional who can provide seamless, knowledgeable service to a global clientele. You will be responsible for executing service to the highest standards, ensuring every guest experiences the excitement and refinement of the Bulgari brand.

Key Responsibilities

Service Excellence

• Expert Service: Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages with precision, maintaining the rigorous standards of a Michelin-starred environment.

• Menu Knowledge: Answer detailed questions regarding menu selections and provide recommendations in both English and Italian.

• Kitchen Coordination: Communicate effectively with the kitchen regarding dietary needs, allergies, special requests, and product availability.

• Guest Satisfaction: Monitor the guest experience throughout each course to ensure total satisfaction and a personalized touch.

Operational Execution

• Technical Accuracy: Record all transactions accurately in the MICROS system at the time of order.

• Table Management: Set and maintain tables according to specific event types and Bulgari service protocols.

• Financial Integrity: Present accurate physical checks and process payments efficiently.

• Closing Duties: Complete all end-of-shift duties, including restocking, area cleaning, and equipment maintenance.

• Hospitality: Welcome guests according to company standards, anticipating their needs and assisting individuals with disabilities.

• Teamwork: Maintain positive working relationships and support colleagues to achieve common service goals.

• Integrity: Adhere to all safety, security, and confidentiality policies while maintaining a pristine professional appearance.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience & Education

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

• Experience: At least 1 year of related experience, preferably in a fine-dining or luxury hotel setting.

• Language: Professional fluency in Italian is required to reflect the authentic heritage of Il Ristorante.

Physical & Technical Requirements

• Agility: Ability to stand or walk for an entire shift and navigate stairs or slippery surfaces.

• Dexterity: Strong fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for the manipulation of high-end china and glassware.

• Lifting: Capability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.

• Detail-Oriented: Ability to read and verify information in various formats, including small print.
