TechOps SAP Senior MM Consultant (AMS) – Colombo

The Opportunity

EY is looking for a dedicated SAP MM Staff Consultant to join our TechOps team within Global Delivery Services (GDS). In this role, you will provide critical functional support for SAP MM modules, ensuring the operational stability of Global 500 companies. Key Responsibilities

Application Management: Provide L2/L3 support across IT Service Management, including incident management, service requests, change management, and problem resolution.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business needs, and provide expert advice on SAP MM designs.
Documentation: Create and maintain high-quality configuration documents, user guides, and test scripts.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze and resolve defects while identifying opportunities for operational efficiency through automation and SAP best practices.
System Availability: Participate in on-call rotations and shift work as required to ensure the reliability of critical global systems.
Change Management: Handle complex change requests with a deep understanding of evolving business requirements.

What We’re Looking For

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technology field (or equivalent experience).
Technical Experience: 1–3 years of experience in SAP MM, preferably supporting global clients within an offshore/onsite model.
Module Expertise: Deep understanding of Sourcing & Procurement processes, including:
- Material Management (PR, PO, GR, IR, Vendor Payment).
- Service Procurement (SES) and Contract Management.
- Stock Transfer Orders (STO) and Master Data (LTMC/Migration Cockpit).
Integration Skills: Familiarity with MM integration points with other SAP modules such as FI, SD, PP, and PM.
Soft Skills: Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to work independently in a time-critical, volatile environment.
Certification: SAP Certification in MM is highly desirable.
