Job description – Technical Office Manager

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for Deputy Technical Office Manager (Mechanical) to join a top qualified and knowledgeable team in our project in Egypt.Would you like to be part of a dynamic EPC leader with global presence? Build on something that matters!What you will need to do:Lead and supervise the technical office team, including engineers, draftsmen, and document controllers.Review, verify, and approve all technical submissions including shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.Ensure all technical documents and designs comply with ADNOC standards and Oil & Gas industry regulations.Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and consultants for seamless technical execution.Liaise with ADNOC representatives, consultants, and clients for technical approvals and clarifications.Monitor and manage design changes, variations, and technical issues to avoid project delays or cost overruns.Ensure proper document control, version management, and timely submission of all technical documents.Provide periodic technical progress reports to management and project stakeholders.Support procurement in material selection, ensuring all materials comply with approved vendor lists (AVL) and ADNOC specifications. Minimum 15 years of proven experience in the oil & gas or power industry, in similar positionStrong knowledge of Oil & Gas construction processes and engineering principles.Thorough understanding of ADNOC standards, specifications, and approval procedures.Proficient in reviewing and approving shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.Experienced in technical software: AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, and MS Office.Excellent team leadership and management skills; able to supervise engineers, draftsmen, and document controllers.Strong coordination and communication skills with clients, consultants, and contractors.Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking abilities under tight deadlines.
