SEC Reporting Manager
Onsite in Orlando, FL
Job Summary:
The SEC Reporting Manager plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely preparation and filing of the company’s financial reports. This position requires deep expertise in GAAP, SEC Reporting requirements, and SOX compliance, along with strong analytical and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee the preparation and submission of SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and proxy statements.
– Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, GAAP, and internal financial reporting policies.
– Research and implement new accounting standards and disclosure requirements.
– Partner with internal teams and external auditors to support financial reporting processes.
– Assist with mergers & acquisitions, including due diligence, purchase accounting, and subsidiary alignment.
– Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting in accordance with COSO/SOX frameworks.
– Provide technical accounting guidance for **equity compensation plans** and other complex transactions.
– Lead the XBRL tagging process for SEC filings.
– Support ESG reporting initiatives in response to evolving SEC disclosure requirements.
– Prepare and review financial statements, footnote disclosures, and Management’s Discussion & Analysis (MD&A).
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– CPA certification required.
– 5+ years of experience in SEC reporting, public accounting, or corporate financial reporting.
– Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance.
– Experience with SAP or other financial reporting systems.
– Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
