Key Responsibilities
• Inspire and stimulate children’s learning through experience-based activities.
• Support development in areas including personal, social, language, and physical coordination.
• Create engaging visual aids and teaching resources.
• Plan and implement lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Promote creativity and numeracy through storytelling, singing, games, drawing, and imaginative play.
• Encourage curiosity, exploration, and knowledge development.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, nursery nurses, and volunteers to deliver coordinated indoor and outdoor activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents and share updates on child development.
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress accurately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for children and staff at all times.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and remain updated on curriculum changes and best practices.
Required Skills
• Strong experience delivering the EYFS curriculum effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills for planning engaging and structured daily activities.
• A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to early childhood education.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Sensitivity to the individual needs and emotions of young children.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (attested)
• Cache Level 3 certification (or equivalent)
• 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience in an EYFS-based nursery or school
• High proficiency in English (reading, speaking, and writing)
Additional Requirements
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Sharjah
• Must be able to reliably commute or plan relocation before the start date
