We are seeking a skilled Ship Operations Manager to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our vessels. This role involves technical oversight, maintenance planning, and collaboration with vessel crews to uphold operational excellence.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in marine engineering and experience in ensuring compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure vessel operations adhere to marine best practices, company procedures, and local regulations.
• Maintain compliance with class, statutory, and client standards.
• Provide technical guidance to Vessel Masters and Engineers as needed.
• Plan and oversee safe maintenance and repair operations.
• Operate, monitor, and assess engine performance and systems.
• Manage fuel, ballast, and electrical/electronic control equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify machinery faults promptly.
• Lead the marine engineering department, ensuring proper maintenance of all onboard equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts, fuel, and oil.
• Support the reporting manager with assigned tasks.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 45001 Health, Safety, and Environment policies.
Requirements:
• Valid STCW Certification Reg. III/2 (Second Engineer Officer/COC).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Engineer in the shipping/logistics industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive maintenance planning.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
