Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Officer, Documentation, Wealth & Private Banking to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing documentation, credit administration, and compliance processes for Wealth and Private Banking. The ideal candidate will have experience in banking operations, documentation controls, and risk management, ensuring that all processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.


Key Duties

  • Support the Credit Administration Department (CAD) by following established policies, processes, and risk controls.

  • Oversee documentation for Wealth & Private Banking, ensuring accuracy, legal validity, and compliance with internal and external requirements.

  • Monitor customer portfolios and highlight any compliance gaps or risks to safeguard the bank’s interests.

  • Prepare and review key documents such as offer letters, checklists, collateral records, and disbursement files.

  • Track and resolve documentation deficiencies, renewals, and post-approval activities within agreed timelines.

  • Coordinate with Group Credit, Risk Management, and business teams to address queries, approvals, and escalations.

  • Identify system or process improvements to reduce manual tasks and enhance efficiency.

  • Ensure proper execution and verification of security documents and support the release or cancellation of facilities when appropriate.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).

  • 1–3 years’ experience in the banking sector, ideally within Credit Administration or documentation functions.

  • Background in compliance, operational risk, or legal documentation is desirable.

  • Strong knowledge of CAD activities, collateral management, and credit documentation.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and risk assessment skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
