The Opportunity

We are looking for a meticulous Senior Legal Associate to oversee daily legal operations. In this role, you will be responsible for NDA management, comprehensive contract reviews, document abstraction, and providing critical redlining support for various ongoing projects. This is an ideal position for a legal professional who excels in high-stakes, detail-oriented environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Management: Lead the review, negotiation, and management of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and other commercial contracts.

• Document Stewardship: Oversee the legal documentation process for financial institutional agreements, ensuring all records are accurate and secure.

• Abstraction & Summarization: Perform complex contract abstraction and prepare high-level executive summaries for internal stakeholders.

• Redlining Support: Provide precise redlining and mark-up support for a variety of legal documents and corporate agreements.

• Lifecycle Management: Assist in the end-to-end Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) process, ensuring all milestones are tracked and met.

• Project Support: Coordinate with internal teams to provide legal documentation review and guidance for ongoing project requirements.

• Database Maintenance: Manage and update contract databases and internal tracking systems to ensure data integrity.

Requirements

• Experience: Up to 6 years of relevant experience in legal operations, contract management, or a similar corporate legal role.

• Education: An LLB or LLM degree.

• Technical Skills: * Strong proficiency in legal document management systems and MS Office.

  • Expertise in PDF editing tools and digital redlining/mark-up techniques.

  • Solid working knowledge of commercial contracts and corporate law.

• Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

  • Ability to summarize complex legal concepts into clear, actionable insights.
