Operational Responsibilities

Business Development (Local & International)

  • Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Sri Lanka and overseas through strategic research and networking.

  • Strategy: Develop market entry strategies for international expansion, accounting for cultural, regulatory, and competitive factors.

  • Partnerships: Build alliances to strengthen our global presence and drive revenue growth.

  • Proposals: Prepare data-driven proposals and quotations tailored to diverse market needs.

  • Market Analysis: Analyze global trends to support business transformation and competitive positioning.

Digital Marketing & Brand Strategy

  • Execution: Formulate and execute data-driven strategies for brand building and digital marketing.

  • Optimization: Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements based on data insights.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Reviews: Participate in client review meetings and provide data-backed recommendations.

  • Account Management: Support account activities through performance analytics and detailed reporting.


Management & Performance

People & Relationship Management

  • Support: Manage client expectations in close collaboration with Delivery teams.

  • Executive Presence: Interact comfortably with senior executive-level contacts both internally and externally.

  • Service Excellence: Apply customer service experience to connect stakeholders with technology products at every organizational level.

Performance & Reporting

  • Scorecards: Take ownership of the Business Development BU scorecard, tracking issues and initiatives.

  • Reporting: Provide weekly service level summaries and status updates on BD initiatives and projections.

  • Custom Analytics: Develop and execute key reports as requested by clients.


Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: 2–5 years of professional experience with a proven track record in securing business in Sri Lankan and international markets.

  • Digital Proficiency: Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and ROI optimization.

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the BPO industry is highly desirable. Basic knowledge of RPA, AI tools (ChatGPT, etc.), and productivity measuring tools is a plus.

  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, change management, and analytical problem-solving skills. Must be a quick learner and decisive.

  • Commercial Acumen: In-depth knowledge of negotiating and quoting prices for various work models.

  • Education: Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or International Marketing (Post-graduate qualifications are a plus).

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
