Job description – Senior Accountant 10 Years – Telco / VAS experience

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and accounting, with specific experience in the UAE’s tax regulations, including VAT and Corporate Tax. Prior experience in the telecom, VAS (value-added services), or content aggregation sectors is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations

Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws, including timely filings

Analyze telecom billing and DCB (Direct Carrier Billing) settlements

Handle budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities

Maintain and improve internal financial controls

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/ACCA preferred

Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, including UAE tax reporting

Background in telecom, VAS, or content aggregation is a strong advantage

Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
