Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled School IT Director to lead the development and implementation of our school’s IT initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and experience in higher education.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage the school’s IT strategy to support academic standards and institutional goals.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to ensure seamless integration of IT systems and services.
• Foster a supportive and effective learning environment by promoting the use of technology-enhanced teaching and learning practices.
Teaching and Learning
• Deliver lectures, seminars, tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, and field excursions to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Administer and grade exams, quizzes, assignments, and projects to evaluate student performance.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to promote academic growth and achievement.
Academic Leadership
• Oversee the delivery of programs, including managing faculties’ responsibilities and providing leadership in curriculum review.
• Mentor and support faculty in teaching, research, and professional growth to enhance their capabilities and contributions.
Student Support
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students to support their academic success and well-being.
• Address student concerns and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
• Organize industry visits, guest lectures, seminars, and workshops from industry professionals to enrich student learning experiences.
Community Engagement
• Develop and maintain partnerships with industry, community organizations, and other academic institutions to promote collaboration and mutual benefits.
• Promote the program through outreach and engagement activities to enhance its visibility and reputation.
Qualifications and Skills
• Doctoral degree in IT or a closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in higher education, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
