Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kiribathgoda. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth by leading, managing, and motivating a high-performing team of sales professionals. You will develop strategic sales plans, identify new business opportunities, and foster lasting client relationships. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure total customer satisfaction while providing the mentorship necessary to enhance your team’s performance.
Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a sales team to consistently meet and exceed performance targets.

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to expand our market presence.

Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new client opportunities and business streams.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Performance Tracking: Utilize data analysis and reporting to monitor metrics and make informed, strategic decisions.
Qualifications

Leadership: Proven ability to manage, guide, and inspire a sales team toward collective goals.

Business Development: Solid experience in identifying market opportunities and pursuing new client acquisitions.

Strategy & Execution: Proficiency in developing sales strategies that deliver measurable results.

Communication: Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills for high-level relationship building.

Problem-Solving: Adaptability and resilience to navigate a competitive and dynamic industry landscape.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Industry Experience: Prior experience in the insurance sector is highly desirable.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard software and reporting tools.
