Job Overview

We are seeking a Project Accountant to join our finance team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting within the construction industry and a solid understanding of project-based financial management. This role requires supporting project financial reporting, ensuring accurate accounting records, and assisting in budgeting and cost control for ongoing construction projects.


Key Duties

  • Maintain and reconcile project accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

  • Monitor project costs, track budgets, and report variances to management.

  • Prepare invoices, manage accounts receivable and payable, and handle subcontractor payments.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for projects.

  • Coordinate with project managers to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and company policies.

  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of all project-related financial records.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the UAE construction sector.

  • Knowledge of construction accounting practices and project cost management.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Locally available candidates preferred; candidates from any nationality may apply.
