Job Type: Part-time
About Us: Harmony Ballet & Music Centre is seeking an experienced and qualified Musical Theatre teacher to join our team on a part-time basis.
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Musical Theatre teacher to teach students of various age groups and proficiency levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and be able to create engaging and interactive lessons.
Responsibilities:
– Teach Musical Theatre classes to students of various age groups and proficiency levels
– Develop and implement engaging and interactive lesson plans
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
– Communicate with parents and school administrators as needed
– Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre, Dance, or related field
– Teaching certification or equivalent experience
– Proven experience teaching Musical Theatre classes
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Familiarity with Musical Theatre teaching methodologies and resources
Preferred Qualifications:
– Master’s degree in Musical Theatre, Dance, or related field
– Experience teaching students aged 7+
– Familiarity with choreography and song interpretation
Working Hours:
– Part-time position with flexible scheduling
– Saturday: 1pm – 2pm
Salary:
– 60% of fees go to the teacher, with fees varying based on lesson duration opted by the client
– 40% of fees go to Harmony Ballet & Music Centre
Important Details:
– Candidates must have their own Emirates ID
– No medical or travel allowance will be provided
