Job description – Marine Carpenter

Job Responsibilities:
• Construct, install, repair, and finish wooden structures and fixtures on boats and ships
• Perform interior and exterior carpentry work, including cabinetry, decking, hull framing, and bulkhead construction
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and vessel schematics
• Select and work with marine-grade materials including teak, mahogany, fiberglass, and composites
• Ensure all work complies with marine safety standards and industry regulations
• Collaborate with shipwrights, welders, and electricians for coordinated vessel repair or construction
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Requirements:
• 3+ years of carpentry experience (marine or shipyard experience preferred)
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical plans
• Strong understanding of boat construction and marine materials
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Attention to detail and craftsmanship quality
• Must be available to join immediately

Pay: AED3,500.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
