Key Responsibilities

Monitor compliance with applicable IRCSL, FIU, and other regulatory requirements.
Support implementation and ongoing monitoring of the Company’s AML/CFT framework, including CDD, EDD, PEP reviews, sanctions screening, and regulatory reporting.
Assist in preparing and submitting statutory and regulatory returns within prescribed timelines.
Conduct compliance reviews and follow up on corrective actions.
Provide advisory support to business units on regulatory and governance matters.
Support market conduct compliance, consumer protection initiatives, and internal policy reviews.
Prepare compliance reports for Senior Management and Board Committees.
Liaise with regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders as required.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
Professional qualification (ACCA, CA, CIMA, ACAMS, ICA, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in compliance, risk, audit, or financial services.
Prior experience in the insurance or banking sector is preferred.
Sound understanding of AML/CFT regulations and regulatory frameworks applicable to financial institutions.

Lead our regulatory strategy and governance in Colombo. As the Manager of Compliance, you will serve as a critical liaison between Softlogic Life and key regulatory bodies like the IRCSL and FIU. Your role is pivotal in managing our AML/CFT frameworks and ensuring that every statutory return is filed with precision. By providing expert advisory support to our business units and reporting directly to Senior Management, you will ensure that consumer protection and market conduct remain at the heart of our operational success.
