Job description – Lead Data Analyst

Responsibilities

Own the health and continued development of complex reports and dashboards (e.g. Power BI, Snowflake) serving approximately 2000 clients of a large global fintech product.

Develop new dashboards and modify existing dashboards to meet the evolving needs of the clients and the product.

Troubleshoot and fix calculation errors, missing data and other defects reported by clients in a timely manner. Collaborate with database and product teams when the origin of errors need to be traced back to the application.

Develop expertise in the data model and calculations of the business domain.
General Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

Strong SQL skills and extensive hands-on experience working with large SQL queries and complex RDBMS schemas.

At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with Power BI or an equivalent tool in a production setting.

Experience working with ETL/ELT pipeline technologies: DBT, Snowpipes, Databricks, Parquet files is a plus.
Lead Technical Analytics and Data Excellence
As our Data Analytics Tech Lead, you will take full ownership of the reporting ecosystem for a major global fintech product, serving a massive international client base. Your mission involves balancing the creation of sophisticated new dashboards with the high-stakes maintenance of existing data visualizations using Snowflake and Power BI. You will act as a subject matter expert in the business data model, leading troubleshooting efforts and collaborating across product lines to resolve complex data defects. By ensuring the integrity of every calculation and the reliability of every report, you will play a definitive role in the product’s global success.
