Job description – IT Project Manager

Responsibilities·

Coordinate with all impacted vendors (via contract owners) and agencies to align IT systems design, development, testing and implementation.· Coordinate with operational stakeholders to ensure system design meets program needs/requirements· Maintain an overall IT Systems project plan.· Track risks, mitigations and issues that arise from the over IT system project effort.· Align the IT system’s efforts with the overall outcomes and objectives of the project and ensure that performance meets expectations as described in the project charter.

Requirements·

The ability to understand, interpret and correctly apply complex policies and procedures.· Able to participate as an active and contributing member of a team.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.· Strong organizational skills, with an ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively under deadlines.· Experience with the principles of PMBOK· Experience with Project Management tools and techniques.· Experience with IT problem management.· Knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle.· Ability to drive a team and produce high-quality results.· Ability to develop strong business cases with supporting documentation, including wireframes, process maps, and other design tools.· Experience defining program performance outcomes and key measurements.
