Job description – Head Of Projects – Sales Operations

VCNET TELECOM is a dynamic leader in the telecommunications and infrastructure sector, dedicated to delivering high-impact solutions across the region. We are looking for a visionary Head of Projects – Sales Operations to join our leadership team in Colombo. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between complex project execution and strategic sales growth, ensuring our operations are both commercially viable and operationally excellent.


Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and adjust sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets using performance analysis and forecasting. • Accurately forecast sales revenue and oversee sales budgeting to ensure efficient allocation of resources. • Lead, motivate, coach, and mentor the sales team to exceed performance targets while maintaining high professional standards. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, clients, and internal stakeholders to secure and grow business. • Manage discount and credit approvals, and coordinate with Accounts to obtain gross margin details and secure competitive sales orders. • Oversee project department administration and effectively utilize CRM and sales reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ proven experience in project sales or sales leadership. • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or an equivalent professional qualification. • Strong leadership, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills. • Exceptional negotiation ability and strong commercial acumen. • Experience in the construction or interior design sector will be an added advantage.
