About the Role
Curtin University Colombo invites applications from experienced professionals for the position of Executive Coordinator – Institutional Initiatives. This high-impact, leadership-facing role is designed for individuals with a background in higher education administration, institutional coordination, or executive support to senior leadership.
You will play a vital role in supporting the coordination of strategic priorities and partnerships across the University. Working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders, you will ensure institutional alignment, effective communication, and timely delivery of critical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Initiative Coordination: Monitor and coordinate institutional and operational initiatives across various academic and administrative departments.

Action Tracking: Maintain initiative trackers and dashboards to ensure all action items are followed through by relevant teams and stakeholders.

Executive Communication: Draft, review, and manage high-level correspondence, official reports, and institutional communications.

Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate seamless communication between internal teams, strategic partners, and institutional stakeholders.

Documentation & Planning: Support the formal documentation and implementation phases of new initiatives to ensure long-term continuity.

Risk Management: Proactively identify potential delays or bottlenecks in project timelines and escalate issues to leadership when necessary.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in institutional coordination, executive support, or operations.

Leadership Support: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leadership and diverse cross-functional teams.

Communication: Superior written communication skills and expertise in professional documentation.

Organization: Exceptional planning and coordination capabilities with a focus on institutional efficiency.
