Job Overview

The Director of Beverage plays a pivotal role in the Food & Beverage leadership team. This position is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences through high-quality beverage offerings and service.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversight of beverage operations, fiscal budgets, and marketing strategies to drive profitability
• Establishing par levels for supplies, liquor, beer, wine, and equipment, completing requisitions as needed
• Implementation of policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, menus, work schedules, rules, and regulations for the beverage staff
• Maintaining knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available, including characteristics and description of every wine/champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list
• Creative development and implementation of beverage concepts for new outlets during pre-opening phases
• Collaboration with Brand Partners to review and establish standards, staffing levels, recruitment strategy, alignment with hotel policies, and SOPs
• Maintenance of the highest standards of health, sanitation, and cleanliness within all areas of Beverage

Skill Requirements
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role in a luxury restaurant with direct P&L responsibilities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Management experience in complex Food and Beverage operations
• International experience preferred
• Exceptional leadership and business skills, with innovation and creative abilities
• Prior experience in managing food & beverage costs and inventory control
