Key Duties

As a Delivery Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive quality service and timely deliveries. This position involves both delivery responsibilities and customer interaction. Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering and installing furniture, appliances, and home electronics in customer homes.

• Picking up merchandise as needed and maintaining company assets, including vehicles and equipment.

• Performing inside and outside service calls while ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Assisting with showroom upkeep and explaining product features and rental agreements to customers.

• Safely operating company vehicles in compliance with all driving and safety standards.

• Supporting store operations and meeting established delivery goals.

Requirements

We are looking for motivated individuals who can balance customer service with physical delivery work.

• Must be 21 years or older (required for insurance coverage).

• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and insurability.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in person and by phone.

• Comfortable with basic math, record-keeping, and completing receipts or journal entries.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, with regular attendance.

• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.

• Physical ability to lift and move merchandise weighing 50–300 lbs. with a dolly, climb stairs, and work in varied weather conditions.
