Job description – Cybersecurity Consultant (Security Architect) (Contract)

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is Singapore’s central bank and integrated financial regulator.

What You Will Be Working On
Sitting within Data & Technology Architecture Department, the Cybersecurity Consultant is responsible to:
• Design and develop enterprise security architectures that align with business objectives and compliance requirements
• Provide expert security consultancy to project teams and senior management on complex security challenges
• Conduct security architecture reviews and risk assessments for new and existing systems, and provide remediation recommendations
• Create and maintain security design patterns, standards, and guidelines
• Lead security architecture governance processes and ensure compliance with security frameworks
• Ensure security best practices and compliance standards are implemented on IT system
• Evaluate emerging security technologies and make recommendations for adoption
• Develop innovative approaches to address complex security challenges
What We Are Looking For
• Background in Engineering or Computer Science
• 8 or more years of working experience in IT Security
• Relevant certifications in networking or cyber security, e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC
• Experience with DevSecOps methodologies and processes
• Experience in security architecture of cloud native applications
• Strong experience in providing security advisory and consultancy on application and services, including the design, development, implementation and/or management of the system
• Understanding of security integration in CI/CD pipelines
• Deep understanding of security tools and technologies, such as Security Information and Events Management, Data Loss Prevention, Database Activity Monitoring, Data Security and Protection, Privileged Access Management, File Integrity Monitoring, Web Application Firewall, Intrusion Prevent etc
