Job Description
Assistant Professor Computer Science and Information Technology Position Summary: The College of Engineering in Abu Dhabi University is seeking a qualified and motivated individual for the position of Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Information Technology. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, conduct high-quality research, supervise student projects, and contribute to departmental and institutional service. Key Responsibilities: Teach courses in Computer Science and Information Technology, including core and elective subjects (e.g., programming, networking, databases, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies). Develop and revise course materials, syllabi, and assessments aligned with accreditation standards and program outcomes. Engage in scholarly research leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Supervise student capstone projects, internships, and independent studies. Participate in curriculum development and program accreditation activities. Serve on academic and administrative committees at the department and college level. Engage in community outreach and industry collaboration initiatives. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field. Evidence of effective university-level teaching. A strong record or potential for scholarly research and publication. Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
