Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic Area Manager for a full-time, on-site role based within the Colombo District. In this position, you will lead and inspire a high-performing team to achieve key business objectives and develop strategic sales initiatives to drive growth.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations across your assigned territory, ensuring sales targets are consistently met, and providing continuous training and support to your team. You will also focus on nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, preparing detailed performance reports, ensuring compliance with company policies, and identifying fresh opportunities for market expansion.

Qualifications

• Leadership & Strategy: Strong leadership, team management, and strategic planning capabilities.

• Sales Drive: Proven sales expertise with a track record of meeting and exceeding performance targets.

• Communication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Market Insights: Ability to analyze market trends and implement effective, localized business solutions.

• Operations: Proficiency in operational oversight, process management, and performance reporting.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

• Industry Experience: Prior experience within the insurance or financial services sector is a distinct advantage.

• Flexibility: Complete flexibility to work in an on-site capacity across the Colombo District.
