Job Overview
We’re on the lookout for a motivated and customer-focused Insurance Agent to join our growing team in the Gampola area. If you’re passionate about helping people, enjoy meeting new clients, and have a strong sense of integrity, this role is a great fit for you.
As an Insurance Agent, you’ll guide clients in selecting life and general insurance products that match their personal and financial needs. You’ll also provide ongoing support, maintain strong client relationships, and help expand our local presence in nearby towns such as Kandy, Gelioya, Nawalapitiya, and Pussellawa.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell life and general insurance policies based on client needs and preferences
- Conduct financial assessments and explain available insurance plans clearly
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers in the region
- Deliver excellent customer service before and after policy issuance
- Assist clients with policy updates, claims, and documentation
- Represent the Amana Takaful brand professionally within the community
- Stay up to date with product offerings and industry regulations
Must-Have Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 G.C.E. O/L passes, including Mathematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in and around Gampola, Kandy, Gelioya, Nawalapitiya, or Pussellawa
- Age 18 or above
- A strong customer service mindset and willingness to learn
Nice-to-Have
- Previous experience in life insurance sales or customer-facing roles
- Familiarity with the local market and community
