About the Role:
We are looking for a strong academic leader as head of Department Information Technology. You will lead teaching, research, and administration, and help improve our IT programs to meet global standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the IT department’s teaching, research, and daily operations
- Design and improve academic programs and courses
- Support and guide staff and students
- Build partnerships with industries and other universities
- Ensure programs meet quality and accreditation standards
- Manage department budgets and resources
- Drive innovation and keep up with new trends in IT
What We’re Looking For:
- PhD in IT, Computer Science, or similar field
- At least 5 years of academic experience, with 2–3 years in a leadership role
- Strong teaching and research background
- Experience in curriculum development
- Good leadership and team skills
- Knowledge of new trends in IT
- Experience working with industry and academic partners
- Understanding of accreditation standards
- Strong communication and planning skills
