Job Overview:
We’re hiring a compassionate and skilled District Nurse to support students and staff across the Beaverton School District. In this full-time role, you’ll play a key part in promoting health and safety throughout the school community—especially within special education programs. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to students with medical needs, including chronic conditions and acute health concerns
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized health plans (IHPs)
- Support students in special education programs with medical assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Respond to medical emergencies and ensure proper documentation and reporting
- Offer health education and wellness guidance to students, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate health records in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
- Support COVID-19, vaccination, or public health protocols as needed
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oregon
- CPR/AED certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple schools
- Experience working with children or in a school setting
Nice-to-Have:
- Previous experience in special education or pediatric nursing
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities
- Knowledge of public health practices and school health policies

Full-Time | 194-day annual contract | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
