Job Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced and creative Chef to join our kitchen team at BreadPlus in Kandy. In this hands-on role, you’ll take the lead in preparing popular Sri Lankan meals like fried rice, kotthu, and other hot dishes. You’ll also help manage the day-to-day kitchen operations, maintain hygiene standards, and contribute to menu development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of hot dishes, including fried rice, kotthu, and curries
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and taste
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and coordinate with other staff
- Assist in developing new recipes and improving existing menu items
- Monitor stock levels and communicate supply needs
- Follow food safety regulations and best practices
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook, especially with Sri Lankan cuisine
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to cleanliness and food safety
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in a bakery or food service setting
- Culinary training or certification
- Creativity in developing new dishes
