About the Job:

Taprobane House is a small luxury hotel looking for a responsible and detail-focused Bookkeeping and Operations Support Analyst to manage financial records, check stock/inventory, and support hotel operations. This job needs someone with good computer and language skills, who can also help the front office team when needed.


Your Main Tasks:

1. Finance & Bookkeeping:

  • Record daily sales, expenses, and payments
  • Manage petty cash
  • Prepare daily reports
  • Help with monthly financial reports

2. Inventory & Stock Checking:

  • Check and count stock (food, drinks, supplies)
  • Match goods received with records
  • Report any missing or extra stock

3. Operations & Support:

  • Check and enter data correctly
  • Help make sure hotel rules and processes are followed
  • Handle contracts and basic HR tasks like EPF/ETF
  • Support front office and help with guests if needed

Who Can Apply:

  • Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Business, or Hospitality
  • 2–3 years of bookkeeping or admin experience, hotel experience is a plus
  • Good skills in Excel, and Microsoft Office
  • Can type fast and accurately
  • Can speak and write in English well; Sinhala/Tamil is a plus
  • Honest, organized, responsible, and able to work alone
