Job description – Infrastructure Administrator

Technological knowledge about the various IT resources required for organizational functioning In depth understanding of IT Infrastructure components and audio-visual technology Able to set up, interconnect and operate audio/visual equipment, including LCD projectors and screens Knowledge n branch solutions and building management solutions Knowledge on windows and Linux servers Manage network servers and technology tools Proven experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator. Familiarity with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management. Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl, or other languages. Able to manage competing priorities, multiple tasks and meet deadlines Able to negotiate and influence internal stakeholders and vendors Able to explore new technologies and bring in new ideas from the industry Time management, cost and budget analysis Team player, analytical thinking, innovative and flexible Knowledge of the preparation of correspondence, minutes, and reports Collect, Validate and analyze relevant data required for project planning and management. Liaise with cross functional IT infrastructure and vendor team members Deliver assigned elements of the project in order to enable achievement of relevant milestones. Highlight project issues and risks to the project manager Highlights to the project manager if deadlines, quality or budget are significantly at risk Maintain the project schedule and monitor approved baselines and conduct variance analysis. Comply with project specifications and standards in order to deliver quality and timely project outputs. Co-ordinate and follow-up with all involved parties to resolve issues/queries and complete assigned project elements in a timely manner. Provide relevant Reports regularly to enable project review and decision making, where appropriate. Takes personal responsibility for meeting objectives and progressing work. Shows initiative and does what is required. Commits energy and drive to see that goals are achieved. Builds and sustains positive relationships with team members, stakeholders and clients.
