About the Job:
Taprobane House is a small luxury hotel looking for a responsible and detail-focused Bookkeeping and Operations Support Analyst to manage financial records, check stock/inventory, and support hotel operations. This job needs someone with good computer and language skills, who can also help the front office team when needed.
Your Main Tasks:
1. Finance & Bookkeeping:
- Record daily sales, expenses, and payments
- Manage petty cash
- Prepare daily reports
- Help with monthly financial reports
2. Inventory & Stock Checking:
- Check and count stock (food, drinks, supplies)
- Match goods received with records
- Report any missing or extra stock
3. Operations & Support:
- Check and enter data correctly
- Help make sure hotel rules and processes are followed
- Handle contracts and basic HR tasks like EPF/ETF
- Support front office and help with guests if needed
Who Can Apply:
- Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Business, or Hospitality
- 2–3 years of bookkeeping or admin experience, hotel experience is a plus
- Good skills in Excel, and Microsoft Office
- Can type fast and accurately
- Can speak and write in English well; Sinhala/Tamil is a plus
- Honest, organized, responsible, and able to work alone
