Job Overview:
We’re on the lookout for a dedicated and energetic Waiter to join our restaurant team full-time in Kandy. In this guest-facing role, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional service, ensuring a smooth dining experience, and supporting food service operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve guests with a friendly, professional attitude
- Take orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service teams to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Assist with light food prep and support back-of-house operations when needed
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues quickly and politely
- Ensure all safety and hygiene standards are consistently followed
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- Experience in food and beverage service
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- A positive attitude and team spirit
- Basic knowledge of food handling and hygiene
Nice-to-Have:
- Prior experience working in a hotel or upscale restaurant
- Basic cooking or kitchen assistance skills
