Job Overview
We’re on the lookout for a Key Account Manager who thrives on building trusted relationships and crafting tailored solutions for enterprise clients. If you have a strong background in telecommunications or IT and love working in a client-facing role, this is your chance to make a real impact. You’ll be the go-to person for key clients across both private and public sectors, acting as a strategic advisor and problem solver.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with enterprise and government clients
- Understand client requirements thoroughly—technical needs, business goals, and support expectations
- Deliver customized solutions that align with each client’s objectives
- Coordinate timely delivery of products and services in collaboration with internal teams
- Act as the primary communication bridge between clients and cross-functional departments
- Address and resolve client issues or concerns with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and turn leads into loyal partnerships
- Prepare and present regular performance updates, forecasts, and reports using account metrics
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Proven experience in B2B sales or key account management, preferably in the telecom or IT sector
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications or IT solutions and services
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to analyze client needs and deliver tailored, consultative solutions
- Detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with enterprise and government procurement processes
- Experience managing multiple large-scale accounts simultaneously
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional local languages is a plus
Location & Work Type
Based in Sri Lanka | Full-Time | On-site with occasional travel to client locations
