About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Retail Sales & Customer Support Executive to manage our in-store sales while supporting customer inquiries through our call center. This dual role requires strong communication skills, a sales-driven mindset, and a deep commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience across all retail and support touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

  • In-Store Sales & Engagement: Welcome and assist walk-in customers by providing accurate product information, recommendations, and effective closing techniques to achieve and exceed sales targets.

  • Product & Tech Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mobile phone brands, accessories, ongoing promotions, and special offers.

  • Store & System Operations: Process sales transactions, issue invoices, accurately update ERP systems, and maintain appealing product displays and overall store cleanliness.

  • Call Center Support: Handle inbound customer calls, professionally responding to inquiries related to products, services, promotions, and order placements.

  • Issue Resolution: Assist customers with warranty claims and basic troubleshooting, while handling complaints professionally and escalating them when necessary.

  • Data Maintenance: Maintain accurate customer records, call logs, and support documentation within the system.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Previous experience in retail sales and/or customer service is preferred.

  • Language Proficiency: Excellent verbal communication skills in Sinhala and English (proficiency in Tamil is an added advantage).

  • Core Strengths: A strong interest in sales, customer engagement, relationship building, and the ability to multitask between in-store service and call center duties.

  • Technical Familiarity: Familiarity with mobile phones and accessories is highly advantageous. Basic knowledge of CRM, ERP, and call-handling systems is a plus.
