Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Business Manager – Industrial to lead, scale, and grow our Industrial business sector across Sri Lanka. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for building the business from the ground up, driving robust revenue growth, and establishing a dominant market presence.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and drive the Industrial business strategy to ensure long-term, sustainable revenue and profitability.

Localize and execute global and regional corporate strategies based on Sri Lankan market needs.

Provide regular local market feedback to help refine global strategic plans.

Analyze overall market potential to define competitive positioning and pricing models.

Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and new commercial opportunities.

Support the development and launch of new industrial services and product offerings.

Lead budgeting, resource planning, and day-to-day operational execution.

Manage contract drafting, commercial negotiations, and new client acquisition (both local and international).

Oversee all pre- and post-contract commercial aspects, including credit management and collections.

Ensure operational excellence, strict quality standards, and high customer satisfaction.

Drive efficient claim management processes and ensure reporting accuracy.

Build strong client relationships while representing and maintaining brand integrity.

Foster cross-functional synergies across different business lines to identify fresh acquisition opportunities.

Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing local team.

Identify and groom future leaders within the business.
Ideal Candidate

A strong background in Industrial, Technical, or Services-based business development.

Proven leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to build and scale teams from scratch.
