Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS systems

• Develop and optimize control logic for manufacturing and industrial processes

• Troubleshoot and resolve automation system issues across multiple sites

• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers

• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and reports

• Mentor and guide junior engineers

• Support commissioning, testing, and customer training

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum 5+ years of practical experience in industrial automation

• Strong expertise in PLC programming (Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Mitsubishi, etc.)

• Hands-on experience with HMI/SCADA platforms (WinCC, FactoryTalk, Ignition, etc.)

• Experience with industrial networks and communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.)

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives

• Good communication skills in English (verbal and written)

• Valid Riding & Driving Licence

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with robotics, motion control, or safety PLCs

• Exposure to process automation and DCS systems (ABB, Honeywell, etc.)

• Familiarity with standards such as IEC 61131 and ISA-95

Master Complex Systems and Technical Leadership

In this senior technical role, you will be the primary architect for advanced automation systems, taking projects from initial design to final commissioning. You will be responsible for developing sophisticated control logic and integrating PLC, HMI, and SCADA platforms to optimize manufacturing performance.

Beyond technical execution, you will serve as a mentor to junior engineers and a strategic collaborator across electrical and mechanical disciplines. By maintaining rigorous documentation standards and providing expert troubleshooting across multiple sites, you will ensure that our clients receive the world-class, reliable solutions that define the MethG brand.
