Job description – Credit Analyst / Credit Analyst Trainee (Banking & Finance)
Oceania Outsourcing, a Fiji-based leader in Australian mortgage support, is expanding its dynamic team to Kandy, Sri Lanka. We are looking for a dedicated Credit Analyst / Credit Analyst Trainee who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to play a pivotal role in our loan processing operations from application through to settlement.
Objectives of the role:

Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and our customers to ensure a smooth credit application process.

Gathers and analyzes loan applicants’ information for processing.

Prepares and presents Statement of Credit Assistance for brokers in Australia.

Communicates credit decisions and policies to fellow employees for their development.

Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols.

Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives.
Daily / Monthly Responsibilities:
-
Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including processing of loan applications.

Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.

Process loan application including but not limited to income analysis, expenses analysis and product analysis with discussions with Australian brokers.

Ensure compliance and meeting Australian Laws such as Privacy Act, NCCP Act Best Interest Duty Law, Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism and any other Banking and Finance regulations.

Complete product pricing requests on behalf of brokers with effective communication with Australian Banks (80+ banks in Australia)

Follow up with Australian Banks to ensure smooth settlements of loan applications.

Work closely with the Group Operations Manager and the Team Leader/s to ensure activities remain compliant.

Timely written and verbal communication within the team and our customers.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics (preferred) or related field, with 1-2 years of work experience.

Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
