Key Duties
As a Furniture Assembly Tech with SFS, Inc., you will play a vital role in keeping office supply stores’ furniture showrooms organized, functional, and visually appealing. Your responsibilities include:
- 
Assembling and installing furniture accurately according to client specifications and RTA instructions.
 - 
Maintaining in-store displays and ensuring they align with plan-o-grams and merchandising guidelines.
 - 
Completing category resets and ensuring showroom setups reflect current merchandising standards.
 - 
Handling in-house customer assembly requests as needed.
 - 
Reporting completed work promptly and accurately to ensure smooth project tracking.
 
This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently while meeting quality and efficiency standards.
Requirements
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- 
Previous experience in commercial furniture assembly or merchandising is strongly preferred.
 - 
Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and interpret plan-o-grams.
 - 
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stand for long periods, and work in various retail environments.
 - 
Reliable transportation to travel to multiple store locations.
 - 
Personal assembly tools, internet access, and active email for reporting work.
 - 
Self-motivated and capable of managing your own schedule effectively.
 
No formal education requirements are needed, but experience in retail or furniture assembly is essential.
Pay & Benefits
