Key Duties

As a Part-Time Assistant Manager at Torrid, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Store Manager and driving the success of the store. This position combines leadership, customer service, and operational management to deliver an outstanding experience for every shopper.

In this role, you will:

• Help lead daily operations to meet sales targets and company performance goals.

• Assist with recruiting, training, and developing team members to deliver strong results.

• Foster a welcoming, inclusive store environment that encourages customer loyalty.

• Support merchandise presentation, ensuring displays are inspiring, clean, and on-brand.

• Oversee scheduling, payroll, and compliance with company policies and loss prevention standards.

• Maintain open communication with leadership to align on store priorities and initiatives.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates should bring:

• At least 6 months of retail management experience in apparel or specialty stores.

• Strong leadership skills with proven success in driving sales and team performance.

• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-changing retail environment.

• A passion for fashion and awareness of current trends.

• Physical ability to move merchandise up to 50 lbs., stand/walk during shifts, and use equipment such as ladders or step stools as needed.
