Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Front Office Duty Manager to oversee daily operations at our Front Office, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all guests. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple departments while maintaining high service standards.


Key Duties

  • Supervise day-to-day Front Office operations, including Reception, Concierge, and Guest Relations.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations within the Front Office and guest areas.

  • Deliver personalized, courteous service and address guest concerns promptly and effectively.

  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales, and Butler services to meet guest needs.

  • Monitor room availability, arrivals, departures, and reservations to optimize occupancy.

  • Manage billing, guest accounts, and credit verification while resolving discrepancies efficiently.

  • Promote hotel services and facilities to enhance revenue opportunities.

  • Conduct regular inspections of Front and Back of House areas for cleanliness, safety, and operational standards.

  • Welcome VIP guests, delegations, and group leaders personally.

  • Relieve the Night Manager during absences and ensure smooth handovers with incoming managers.


Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Front Desk Duty Manager in a hotel or resort.

  • Proficient in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.

  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with hotel management systems.

  • Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills with a professional appearance.

  • Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate Front Office staff while maintaining operational standards.
