Job Overview

We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team in Ajman. This role is responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring food processing and packaging machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with food manufacturing equipment, strong technical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Key Duties

• Operate and monitor dal mill machines, spice grinders, nut roasters, vacuum sealers, and filling lines to meet production targets.

• Set up and calibrate machinery to ensure accurate product specifications and packaging consistency.

• Conduct quality checks during production to maintain product standards and adherence to HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000 guidelines.

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs to minimize downtime.

• Maintain hygiene, safety protocols, and proper use of PPE in the production area.

• Document production activities, including batch records, cleaning logs, and machine parameters for audit readiness.

• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflow.

• Participate in safety drills, toolbox talks, and SOP training sessions.

Requirements

• Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Operations.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in food processing or packaging machinery operations.

• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000 standards.

• Mechanical aptitude for adjusting machine settings and performing minor troubleshooting.

• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting 25–50kg bags.

• Proficient in English; knowledge of Hindi/Urdu preferred; Arabic is an advantage.
