Job Overview
We are looking for an IT Support Engineer (Infrastructure and Service Desk) to join our team in Dubai. The role is responsible for providing comprehensive technical support, monitoring IT systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of infrastructure and service desk functions. This position also involves supporting technology rollouts, maintaining IT assets, and ensuring compliance with security and continuity standards.
Key Duties
- 
Provide first-line and advanced technical support to end users via multiple channels.
 - 
Monitor servers, systems, and networks, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
 - 
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
 - 
Manage user accounts, system access, and IT security protocols.
 - 
Assist in planning, implementing, and upgrading IT infrastructure and platforms.
 - 
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and support guides.
 - 
Support UAT, training sessions, and rollout of new applications.
 - 
Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and performance reports.
 - 
Provide on-call support for critical systems as needed.
 
Requirements
- 
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
 - 
ITIL certification (required); CCNP or CCIE preferred.
 - 
5–6 years of professional experience in IT support, infrastructure, or service desk roles.
 - 
Strong background in troubleshooting and supporting complex IT systems.
 - 
Hands-on experience with enterprise technologies such as Java, Oracle, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, and JBoss/Tomcat.
 - 
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
 - 
Ability to handle both in-house and externally hosted systems.
 - 
Willingness to travel for projects or training when required.
