Job Overview

We are seeking a General Accountant to join our team and manage the financial operations of the company. The role involves handling accounting records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the business in maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a background in building materials trading and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure entries are properly updated.

• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations.

• Prepare reports on expenses, revenue, and overall financial performance.

• Assist with payroll preparation and expense tracking.

• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely settlements.

• Support audits and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards.

• Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and cost control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in building materials trading.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software.

• Ability to work with accuracy and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Pay & Benefits

• Monthly salary between AED 1,800 – AED 2,000.
