Job description – Assistant Manager, Key Account Management

Overview

The Associate Manager role is to drive sales with Food Services customers through out-of-home channels (Hotels, Restaurants, Catering, Airlines and Workplace). This will be achieved by ensuring new customer acquisition augmented by strengthening the weighted basket size while retaining the existing customer base.
Responsibilities
• Prioritize key drivers, activities, and KPIs based on Operational Master Plan (OMP).
• Responsible for achieving sales targets by planning customer engagement, adhering to forecasts and factoring lead times, and staying within budgeted trade expenses/investments.
• Conduct ongoing reviews of the foodservice industry to identify key growth areas and opportunities for improvement.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key clients and decision-makers within the foodservice sector.
• Organize personal schedules effectively, meet deadlines, and utilize internal information and databases efficiently.
• Analyze performance KPIs throughout the year and implement necessary actions to achieve year-end targets.
• Collaborate with the distributor sales team and key accounts to develop and pursue new business opportunities.
What will make you successful?
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any relevant field.
• 2-3 years of relevant sales experience in the FMCG industry is preferred.
• HORECA/Out-of-Home Sales experience is a plus.
• Commercially strong with good analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills (credible influence and persuasion).
• Ability to build internal and external winning relationships.
• Very good negotiation skills.
• Arabic language proficiency is a must.
• Valid driving license.
